Rick James was a funk musician on the Motown label. He is known for starting the corn row trend long before it ever became popular. James died in 2004 from an overdose and was found having numerous substances in his bloodstream. He has been most recently popularized on the show Chappelle Show, where Dave Chappelle imitates Rick James.
